Incubation Works – Agronomic Graduates
Agronomic Technology Corporation has graduated from Kevin M. McGovern Family Center for Venture Development in the Life Sciences at Cornell University! Congratulations! It was a banner day for supporters of startup incubation because it was a grand example of why and how company incubation is meant to happen. As Cornell President David Skorton stated during his remarks “This graduation shows that incubation works.”
Agronomic Technology Corporation started as research at Cornell. By adding business resources and additional technical team members, they were able to take their groundbreaking research out of the lab and put it into practice. Not only will Agronomic be a great business success, but their product makes the world a better place by reducing the amount of fertilizer that farmers need to use – and reducing the amount of fertilizer that gets washed out of the fields and into rivers and streams. Had this company not had the opportunity to be incubated, the world may have never seen the practical benefits of the technology.
Congratulations Agronomic!
