Home Green Home Welcomes Nothing Nowhere Cafe
When a neighboring business left their space on the Ithaca Commons, Home Green Home, a Rev member company since 2018, saw the opportunity to expand their storefront while creating a gathering space for the community.
Store owner, Megan Vidler, reached out to Caleb Harrington, an Ithaca-based artist and experienced barista. In a recent article in Tompkins Weekly, Vidler stated: “I was interested in building community and having a place where people could hang out and feel the Home Green Home vibe […] As soon as I knew Caleb was looking [to open a café], he was the one I wanted.”
Harrington, who worked at Gimme! Coffee for three years and started a pop-up café in Press Bay Alley, was receptive to the idea, and so the additional retail space in Home Green Home was transformed into Nothing Nowhere, a cozy café that aims to also be a community-oriented space in downtown Ithaca.
