GiveGab Joins EveryAction in Company Acquisition
GiveGab, a longtime Rev member, recently joined forces with EveryAction, the fastest-growing and second largest nonprofit software company on the market, bringing together the best-in-class products.
GiveGab is the market leader in nonprofit, community-wide fundraising. With this merger, GiveGab will remain headquartered in Ithaca, New York and continue business as usual, providing the same world-class technology and support to its “Giving Day” campaigns and year-round fundraising partners. The primary difference will be elevated improvements and opportunities to help GiveGab clients grow and be successful.
“We’re excited to join forces with EveryAction, one of the most innovative companies in the space,” said Charlie Mulligan, CEO and Co-founder of GiveGab. “EveryAction’s values and culture are very similar to GiveGab — they have a shared commitment to empower nonprofits and make a real difference in communities across America. With this new partnership, we now have even more resources to help us reach our goal of having a Giving Day everywhere.”
The company’s highly successful “Giving Day” campaigns, have made a significant impact on communities and schools in New York state and across America. GiveGab’s Giving Days raised $20,463,749 for New York-based organizations and schools in 2020.
GiveGab customers will see benefits from EveryAction’s products and features, as well as EveryAction’s network effects like one-click contributions and form pre-filling features, leading to higher conversion rates and more engagement for nonprofits. EveryAction clients will be introduced to GiveGab’s leading Giving Day solution, which has raised billions online and helped more than 40,000 nonprofits engage with their supporters. GiveGab’s Giving Days grow donations 10 times faster than any other giving channel and retain donors 3 times more.
During the ongoing pandemic, a significant number of nonprofits have shifted away from in-person fundraising to virtual fundraising, which means there has been increased demand for digital solutions for nonprofit fundraising to allow nonprofits and the communities they support to remain sustainable. This partnership combines two of the most innovative leaders in the nonprofit fundraising space, and marks the fifth acquisition by EveryAction in two years.
“We are thrilled to welcome GiveGab to the EveryAction family,” said Stu Trevelyan, CEO of EveryAction. “It is imperative that nonprofits have access to the most cutting-edge digital tools available on the market, especially during times of crisis. At EveryAction, we’re committed to developing the best technology to empower nonprofits to do the most good that they can.”
