Cradle to Capital: SimpliFed Raises $4 Million

SimpliFed, a pioneer in maternal care, is making waves in the world of health. Founded by Andrea Ippolito, the company recently raised $4 million in funding, much of which came from The Artemis Fund, a venture capital fund dedicated to helping female tech innovators, Cultivation Capital, and the American Heart Association Social Impact Funds.

“In backing founders like Andrea, we’re proud to support transformative solutions that empower women and families to thrive”, says Stephanie Campbell, founder of The Artemis Fund.

Using it’s Maternal Health Operating System, SimpliFed works to provide support to parents from pregnancy to postpartum, offering virtual care options to help mothers who are breastfeeding their babies, regardless of where they live. This new platform will help SimpliFed further integrate into any and all care experiences, by nearly eliminating the burden on providers and making it intuitive and easy for patients to access the care they need, whenever they need it.

According to Ippolito, “Baby feeding is no days off and no nights off and in collaboration with our amazing health plan, healthcare system, and strategic partner customers across the US, we are further bringing more insurance-covered care to Americans.”
