Business Incubator Opens in Ithaca

ITHACA (WENY) — A place for entrepreneurs to go and build their ideas has officially opened in Downtown Ithaca. 

REV Ithaca Startup Works had their grand opening Monday morning. Leaders from Cornell University, Ithaca College and Tompkins Cortland Community College were all on hand to kick off the event which is a collaborative project between all three schools. They said how great it is to have something like this in the Southern Tier.

David Skorton, Cornell University President said, “it’s in everyone’s interest, including ours, to make this community as successful and vibrant economically and culturally as it can be and part of that is linking arms and developing this kind of a place to bring and keep businesses and people here and in the area. That’s what this is all about.”
