Rev Member Company South Hill Cider to Open Tasting Room

South Hill Cider’s new tasting room is in the near future: a family-friendly gathering place near Buttermilk Falls State Park, where you can share South Hill Cider and small bites from local producers.

The South Hill Cidery and Tasting Room will open for business on Thursday, September 19th 2019, with operating hours Sunday, Monday & Thursday from 11am-5pm and Friday & Saturday from 11am-6pm. Join South Hill for hard cider tastings, locavore events, live music (our cidermaker is also an Old Time fiddle player), and a lawn game or two.

South Hill Cider is a local hard cider producer who has been recognized in a number of national publications. They have been featured in Bon Appétit, Vogue, Wine Advocate and Wall Street Journal. The new building will be for the production of South Hill Cider’s various ciders as well as the home of the new tasting room featuring small bites of local food.  South Hill Cider’s location is close to Ithaca and is located on the site of the company’s organic cider apple orchard. It has beautiful views of West Hill, is located on the Finger Lakes Trail and is next door to the Finger Lakes Land Trust’s Sweedler and Thayer preserves.
