Social Media for Startups 101: Getting Started, Getting Automated

July 19, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Keep putting off setting up social media for your company, because you’re worried it will take too much time?
Have a Twitter with an empty feed and digital cobwebs on it?
Unsure whether or not to separate your startup’s social media from your personal accounts?

Come to this targeted, first-step workshop with Rev’s communications coordinator, Bonnie Sanborn. Participants will get an overview of the “major player” social media platforms and learn about who uses each one, and how. We’ll walk through your specific target audiences to help you understand the best places to focus your energy, then go through a quick set-up for social media accounts. Once you’re ready to roll, Bonnie will share some easy automation tools and tricks to keep this new channel from overwhelming your life. Perfect for startups who have little to no social media presence, new startups, and companies without a designated marketing officer.

Workshop Objectives Include:

  • Learn about various major social media platforms and the audiences on each
  • Identify the social media platforms that will help your company reach its target audience(s)
  • Set up social media accounts for your startup
  • Set up basic automation for your accounts to maximize efficiency/reduce brain-ache

Have specific social media questions?
Send them to Bonnie ([email protected]), so she can tailor the content for user needs!

RSVP here.  Seats are limited to 20 people.  Please bring your laptop.
