Creating a website that drives action
with Mariellen VanDyke Brown of Happy Tree Solutions- Friday, January 4th from 12-1pm
As more information becomes available online, many websites have turned into collections of content. As business owners and marketers try to get various messages out, there’s often a “just put it on the website” mentality.
How do you know if this content collection is actually converting sales for your business? What information does your customer need to know before they are ready to buy, and what content is getting in the way of their user experience?
We’ll cover website best practices, tips on writing copy that drives an action, and how to tell if your website is working for your business goals.
If you’re thinking about launching a new website or simply giving your current website a facelift, this brainstorming session will help you create a site that serves specific goals, focuses on user experience, and ties back to your bottom line.
Mariellen VanDyke Brown is a website designer and owner of Happy Tree Solutions, a marketing & design company in Ithaca, NY. She specializes in communication strategy and WordPress customizations. When she’s not on a computer, she teaches yoga/meditation, and creates intricate papercutting artwork.
