Jeff is excited to connect with local entrepreneurs and answer any questions about risk mitigation and management techniques. Office Hours will be held from 9am until 12pm. About Jeff Dende:
As a Tompkins County Native, Jeff Dende comes from a financial advising background and has worked for international banks in such areas a private and commercial banking. For the last several years he has specialized in risk mitigation and management techniques for hard to place, outside the box companies, and startups. His approach involves detailed analysis of a company, identifying areas of exposure, setting up standard operating procedures to lesson such exposures, and acting as a broker between his clients and various insurance carriers to fill such voids that can not be mitigated in house.
In addition to that, Jeff is the president of the Ithaca Thumbs Up Chapter of BNI as well as a Volunteer Therapeutic Fly Fishing Guide for the Brattleboro Uniformed Services in Vermont where he helps First Responders and current and former military personnel develop techniques to overcome and manage PTSD and substance abuse issues.
